Solar Wax

Born out of the friendship between lead singers Tyler Lunn and Meg O’Brien, the band fully came into being at the beginning of 2021 when the two mates brought lovers and friends - Liam, Josh, and Nick- together to form Solar Wax. With influences that include Pond, King Gizzard and Ty Segall, the band has its own distinctive flavour that keeps punters guessing and dancing.’ Combining gutsy groove, blistering beats, and soulful harmonies into their music, Solar Wax are hitting their straps with performances that linger long in the memory. The band proudly joined the Side Stare Music community in early 2023, closely followed by the release of their first single, ‘Come Down For Air’, and the subsequent self-titled EP. They followed up quickly with another EP in 2024, which consolidated their respect as an act to keep an eye on!
